Final Fantasy XV holds strong for its third week of sales on the Japanese market. According to Media Create the game shifted a further 44,340 physical units from December 12 through December 18. The PS4 version of the game currently stands at a cumulative total of 814,603 copies sold.

Famitsu’s reported numbers were slightly less this week, however. They have the PS4 version taking in an additional 35,765 units to bring its total to 824,959.

With the holidays picking up, the game still has a little ways to go to reach its original shipment reported at one million units in the region. Note these numbers don’t include digital copies or the Xbox One version, which has fallen out of both lists after moving 3,791 copies its first week.
