Square Enix is preparing to reveal the latest character heading to Dissidia Final Fantasy‘s arcade version in a special broadcast set for January 10. Starting at 21:00 JST, fans can follow along on Niconico for the latest announcements, information on the latest version update and a Q&A corner.

Since the game’s launch in arcades, a handful of characters have been added to the roster including Kain Highwind (Final Fantasy IV), Kefka (Final Fantasy VI), Garland (Final Fantasy I) and even Ramza (Final Fantasy Tactics). With Dissidia Final Fantasy‘s arcade exclusivity period now over, it seems likely we’ll hear more on the game’s promised console port in the lead up to Final Fantasy‘s 30th anniversary festivities.
