Secret of Mana remake headed to PlayStation 4, Vita, and Steam on Feburary 15 2018 By Tony Garsow on August 25, 2017 at 6:28 AM

Square Enix has announced that a Secret of Mana remake will have a global digital release on Feburary 15th, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Steam.

Originally developed for the SNES and released in 1993, Secret of Mana is an action-RPG that follows young heroes Randi, Primm, and Popoi who quest to reclaim the power of Mana.

In the trailer below, you can check out the new HD visuals and a newly-arranged soundtrack.

For those who pre-order the game, you’ll be able to snag a Moogle Suit and Tiger Suit for Randi, Primm, and Popoi.

Would have been nice to see them support the Switch on this one.

It would be nice if Switch gets a port (since it’s the next console I’m gonna buy, and I first played this game in the SNES), but I’ll either take the PS4 version or the Steam version, thanks!

    YES !!
Now waiting for a Switch version ! It would be great to have the Seiken Densetsu Collection too !

  • Miqote

Um wht did u need a switch version?

  • Randy Marsh

Nice! Finally get to hear Meridian Dance fully remastered!

I’m guessing they scrapped this game being 3DS only, by the look of the graphics. So they scrapped 3DS altogether and put it on PC and PS4 instead. Very low budget looking, a classic like this deserved to look better to the standards of Dragon Quest Heroes/11 or Ni Nu Kuni 2.

Maybe because the original one released on a Nintendo console, plus it would be great having a version of the game on a console that can be played on the go and on the TV without having to buy a second console (aka PS Vita Remote Play)

it’s on the vita? then i’m in

  • NoctLightCloud

A Switch or 3DS version would be nice. The Vita is still surviving :’)
