Publisher VIZ has acquired the rights to the English release of Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Quest Illustrations 30th Anniversary Edition. Due out in December this year, the book (priced at $34.99 MSRP) takes a look through thirty years of illustrations and designs from across the Dragon Quest series from 1986 through 2016.

Pre-orders for the book are currently available on Amazon, which notes the pages cover through the release of Dragon Quest Heroes II and the addition of a fold-out poster covering the Dragon Quest timeline.
