UPDATE: Tetsuya Nomura announces Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: MIND DLC is coming this winter – With Trailer By Raptorchan on June 9, 2019 at 2:28 AM

At the Kingdom Hearts World-of-Tres Orchestra Concert in Los Angeles, director Tetsuya Nomura had made a surprise visit toward the end, providing fans a sneak-peek trailer at the upcoming DLC “Re: MIND,” which had been formally announced at a previous concert back in April.

While fans were requested not to film or take photos of the trailer, as it was meant to be exclusive for the event, fans and Kingdom Hearts media reporters have described the trailer in length on Twitter, revealing a playable Aqua and Roxas and some rather interesting and spoiler-heavy story additions.

At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that Re: MIND is scheduled to release this Winter. No specific date was given, but according to the live-tweets of RaxaimusKH13, Nomura explained that the DLC will “have more scenes fans will enjoy.”

    The real question is…….

    WHO AM I?

  • Luxord, Marluxia, Demyx and Larxene are likely tied to the original KB war. So now with Xehanort done, they’ll focus on the Xigbar and them.

  • TNN

    More of the same.

  • Thom Kristiansen

    Naruto 2.0

  • How?

  • If it’s story and more about the other villains and not just Xehanort, I’m all for it.

  • Lulcielid

Has there being any mention if Re:MIND will be paid DLC or not (it likely will be paid but I’d like to have official confirmation)?

  • Randy Marsh

Iirc Nomura mentioned that Re:MIND will be paid DLC due to it being similar to the amount of content in a Final Mix.

  • Artemis Polara

Cool I guess but it doesn’t really fix the problems I have with the game.

  • Krijn van Alten

The real question, like with XV, is of course: how many DLC’s are there still to come in the following years?

  • Justice V

Well considering Nomura always added characters, story elements, missions/secret bosses and gameplay tweeks with each Final Mix version of the previous games, could imagine at least 1-2. If Re:Mind is huge then maybe nothing else, if it’s only semi decent sized then I’d expect more on the horizon. The freedom of DLC is a bad thing for Nomura because I could imagine him just constantly wanting to add more as time goes on haha.
