Final Fantasy XIII-2 Has Multiple Composers

At Japan Expo held in France today, Square-Enix showed off the same demo we saw in detail at E3. Following that presentation, they had some new information for fans.

Joining Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu would be two others. Mitsuto Suzuki and Naoshi Mizuta join the team, having worked on games such as The 3rd Birthday and Final Fantasy XI, respectively. As mentioned before, this explains the vast variety of music we’ve already heard from the E3 demo.

Also premiered was a brand new track from XIII-2, presumably scored by Hamauzu based on the heavy use of strings. You can sample the music and the accompanying video below.
