Square Enix is planning a new Active Time Report focused on the new year, the company announced today. The broadcast, titled “Active Time Report New Year Special,” will feature a New Year’s greeting and additional information – likely covering the recent roadmap provided for the game.

A specific date for the broadcast has yet to be announced.

Square Enix plans on releasing a number of free updates for the game, including additional story sequences, playable characters and difficulty adjustments through a recent roadmap published online. All of this is coming in addition to multiple pieces of paid character and online multiplayer DLC included in the game’s season pass.
