Final Fantasy XV lead programmer Takeshi Aramaki appointed as studio head for Luminous Productions By Wazi the pa on December 3, 2018 at 4:01 AM

Following Hajime Tabata’s departure from the company, it’s been revealed that Takeshi Aramaki is now designated as the new studio head for Luminous Productions.

Aramaki was the lead programmer for Final Fantasy XV and also the technical director for its PC version.

While not much else was shared, what remains unchanged is the studio’s commitment to “developing new AAA titles“.

Interesting. Lead programmer could be good as a studio head, understanding workflows and the technical aspects of it. Wonder who is writing and directing these new AAA titles though.

  • If doesn’t mean they’ll start making deep serious epic stories again I don’t care
Tabatas problem or at least problems that happened under his watch was that stories were being slapped together full of plot holes and instead focus was always on graphics and shameless over hyping. That needs to stop.
