Watch Final Fantasy XV's Booster Pack Plus DLC items in action

For those that purchased Final Fantasy XV‘s Season Pass, you’ll be able to download a new DLC “Booster” pack starting today. With it comes a few useful items: including a Ragnarok sword (Attack: 153) that Noctis can use for flashier warp-strikes. You’ll also get a Dragon Drain fishing rod (Defense: 230) and an Avior fishing reel (Attack: 280) to step up your fishing game.

Originally, the Booster Pack was meant to include “invincible suits” but too closely resembled a certain other intellectual property… We can expect an adjusted version of the suits at a later date, which will also be available in a free Booster Pack DLC.

You can check out these items in action in the video below:

Recently, Patch 1.05 went live, which adds a few new features to the game including a new level cap of 120, limited-time quests, the ability to take up to 200 pictures, and being able to listen to the music player on chocoboback. The music player will also get two new tracks from NieR and NieR: Automata: “Song of the Ancients/Fate” and “Weight of the World” respectively.

Additionally, the next DLC will be “Episode Gladiolus,” a story DLC featuring the character in a scenario that director Hajime Tabata said will feel more akin to an action game. That’ll be out on March 28th.

Final Fantasy XV is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Follow more of our coverage here.
